Enrichment TRS P16

Broaden your horizons

P16Enrich Our vision

'To align ourselves with the best schools in the country by offering a rich, diverse and stimulating range of enrichment activities. These sessions aim to provide students with important experience and knowledge which will complement their core learning and support their next steps beyond Post-16.'

Yr12 students engage in 100 minutes of compulsory enrichment activities each week to complement the academic curriculum.  Within the program we offer core units which provide key life skills such as First Aid training, Cooking Masterclasses, Teaching Assistant training and experience, Money Management & Budgeting, Public Speaking, Mulit-Sports and Gym.

Beyond this students also have the opportunity to sign up to a broad range of experiences and benefit from some of the fantastic organisations we work closely with.  Students can gain accreditation through LAMDA, the fabulous Mark Evison Foundation or sign up to ‘Take the Lead’ a fantastic opportunity to network, and gain interview experience, as well as presentation skills, confidence building and more at the Old Vic Theatre.

In addition students are offered the opportunity to complete the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award accreditation which has proven hugely popular this year.

Not only do these sessions broaden their experience and develop skills and knowledge, but they also provide valuable experiences to support their UCAS applications and support future success.
