Class of 2025 – 10 | 2 | 11 Transition Summer Assignments
Dear Students,
In order to help you make the transition from Year 10 into Year 11, teachers have put together resources (found below by clicking the links) that will help you prepare for the final stages of your GCSE studies.
We understand that the summer break is a valuable time for you to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. It's essential to recharge! However, it's also important to stay connected with your studies during this period.
When we come back for Year 11, the school year moves quickly. There will be about 125 school days (excluding weekends, holidays, and exam windows) before the GCSE exams start.
To make sure you're prepared and don't forget what you've learned, try to stay engaged with your studies over the summer. This can involve:
- Recalling Core Knowledge: Strengthening your memory by reviewing what you've learned.
- Practicing Skills: Embedding your learning through practice.
- Exploring Year 11 Content: Getting a head start with flipped learning.
Staying connected to your studies in these ways will help you hit the ground running when we return in September.
We look forward to seeing you in the September.
Yours sincerely,
Mr P Patel
Deputy Headteacher
