In Years 9/10 and 11 they undertake the six unit OCR 1st National in ICT covering the ICT in Business compulsory unit, then Graphics, Multimedia, Spreadsheets, Databases and web site development. The course is equivalent to four GCSE's and has been a great stepping stone for so many students onto post sixteen education where they have flourished.
In post 16 students can follow the a BTEC in ICT which is equivalent to three A-levels. or take an AS/A-level in applied ICT
Results have been very good in the subject and many of our local employers have noted how good our students are at using computers at work.
