Specialism
Why MediaArts?
The range of specialist subjects driving our specialism are of great importance and relevance to all students at The Ravensbourne School. Each has continued success across all key stages in raising attainment but more importantly has given students valuable transferable skills. Students enjoy the freedom of being creative and taking risks in order to develop a high quality piece of work.
The MediaArts provide motivation, inspiration and vocational relevance to the curriculum in an age of increasing technological mass communication. Students develop a sense of ownership of their learning, increased self confidence and a pride in the school through the increased opportunities for them to excel using the various strategies our specialist status delivers.
