Parents
We value and strongly promote contact with parents. Students need a positive home to school partnership to achieve their full potential.Parents are openly welcome to visit our school at appropriate times. The staff of The Ravensbourne School will endeavour to see parents as a matter of urgency. We provide regular parents’ consultation meetings to discuss student progress.
Parents are expected to regularly review the contact book issued to all students and to sign it weekly, as it is a very valuable means of communication between home and school.
Parents are asked to support the school’s Homework Policy to the full.
The Ravensbourne PTA is a lively, vibrant group that adds real value to the education of our students. All parents are welcome to participate.
The school believes that effective, open partnership is a key building block for a successful secondary education and the school will make every effort to ensure this happens.
