International

TRS International aims to celebrate humanity, raise awareness of global issues, and provide a platform for resolving conflict and promoting social cohesion by sharing and celebrating cultures.

We enjoy working with a number of different schools around the world which help us to embed this "global dimension" into our work and lives. The Ravensbourne School has many International projects underway at all times. We have partner schools in South Africa, China, Romania, Czech Republic, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Nigeria as well as others, and are always looking for ways to include other schools in our curriculum.

Our current projects include:

"Building Bridges to a Multicultural Europe" A Comenius funded project with Turkey, Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic and Romania.

Global Schools Partnership with Retief High School, Kestell, South Africa

Linking with No 58 High School, Qingdao, China

Linking with Olereto Christian Academy, Narok, Kenya.

We also work with on projects with other schools in Bromley:

“East Asian Connecting Classrooms”, with ten schools in Bromley, ten in Penang, Malaysia; and ten in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

“Swift Weavers”: a Sub Saharan African Connecting Classrooms project, with schools in Zimbabwe and Nigeria. This project starts with three schools in each country this year, and grows each year until we have nine Bromley schools joining in.
